miniBOOTH 2025 – A Look Back at a Weekend of Sound Exploration

Last weekend we had the joy of participating in miniBOOTH 2025 at FEZ Berlin, an event we were thrilled to join for the third time!

For the occasion, we hosted the workshop "Building Soundscapes: An Introduction to Modular Synthesis for Kids!"—a hands-on experience where nearly 60 children had the chance to explore the fundamentals of sound and synthesis through play and experimentation.

The workshop was led by sound artist Juan Orozco (@juanorozcoartesonoro) and featured the Minisynth, a special modular synthesizer we developed in collaboration with Manecolabs (@manecolabs) This intuitive and playful device was designed specifically for young learners to understand how sound is shaped—by connecting cables, turning knobs, and drawing colorful connection diagrams.

It was a weekend full of curiosity, smiles, and discovery—where sound met technology, imagination, and art.

We’d like to thank everyone who came by, participated, and supported the workshop—and send a special thank you to the organizers of miniBOOTH for making this vibrant gathering possible.
